Arizona takes drug crimes seriously so Maasen Law Firm has created this page on Arizona Drug Crime Information to help you understand the charges you face. For example, A.R.S. 13-3405(A)(3) defines the charge of cultivation of marijuana. Under this law it is illegal to knowingly grow marijuana. A conviction of this charge is a class five felony punishable by up to one year in jail to two and years in prison. The state’s revised code refers to marijuana cultivation and other drug crimes. Each drug crimes charge has different elements for prosecutors to prove your guilt such as:

Choosing a Drug Crimes Attorney
When dealing with a drug crimes charge, you need a drug crimes defense team that is just as aggressive as the state’s lawyers. The Maasen Law Firm prides itself on having the attorneys who know how to fight for you and win. Click here to read more about our attorneys’ victories in felony cases.
Every drug crimes charge is different. That’s why it’s important for you to schedule a free initial consultation with us. We listen to the facts of your charge and the circumstances surrounding your arrest. We then build a defense to assist in demolishing the state’s case against you. If the charge can’t be demised, we have the goal of reducing the charge. For instance, A.R.S. 13-3406, 13-3407(A) and 13-3408(A)(3) defines the manufacture of dangerous drugs.
With this charge it is important to challenge every aspect of the elements. For instance, you must knowingly possess the equipment. If you live in a household with multiple residents you may be unaware that your roommates were using or making the drugs. Thus, we would present evidence that the fingerprints on the equipment were not yours. If you don’t have roommates, we have other possible defenses you can use.
If you are charged with one or more drug crimes, contact Maasen Law Firm. We will aggressively fight the charge(s).
In addition to attacking each element of the charge, our attorneys will fight the charge from every angle. We challenge any constitutional violations that may have occurred while law enforcement gathered evidence or arrested you. Did the police have a proper search warrant? Did they elicit incriminating statements from you while denying you the right to an attorney after you asked for one? Did they not provide you with your Miranda Rights before questioning you as a suspect? If any of the above happened, we will file a motion to get the evidence thrown out.
