Phoenix DUI What you need to know if charged in AZ
Hi, My name is Scott Maasen with the Maasen Law Firm. Today, I want to talk about the Phoenix DUI.
Phoenix is the largest city in Arizona and it’s the busiest court that handles DUI cases. There are tens of thousands of cases filed in a Phoenix city court related to DUI every year.
If you get a Phoenix DUI charge, there are a number of things you need to do fairly quickly. You should talk with an experienced DUI attorney to understand what your rights and what your options are. You have a court date, usually you have to go to court in seven to 14 days. You also have to file some papers with the motor vehicle department to save your driver’s license because that could be suspended and taken from you in two weeks.
There are two different cases that you have. We do a lot of cases in Phoenix. I’ve been a Phoenix DUI lawyer for almost 20 years and successfully we’ve handled thousands of cases. That court, again it’s the busiest court. There are a number of judges. There are a number of prosecutors there, states attorneys that handle these cases.
So it’s really important to sit down and talk about the specifics of your case with a good, experienced DUI attorney if you want to get a successful result in Phoenix. You want to avoid jail. You want to avoid Breathalyzer. You want to avoid fines, classes, a license suspension. All those things are consequences if you get a Phoenix DUI charge and it stays on your record.
Give me a call. I’m happy to talk with you anytime, after hours or weekends are fine. I’ll give you a free consultation in terms of what your rights and what your options are if you get a Phoenix DUI charge.
Again, remember there are things that can be done. You have options. You just need to talk about it and understand what they are. Give me a call.
